0342 GMT - Uncertainties around the Fed's rate decision and the broader policy aims in the U.S. have put this week's FOMC meeting firmly in the spotlight, economists at Barclays say in a research note. Last week's U.S. CPI print was interpreted by markets as all but sealing a 25bp increase. An outright dovish Fed outcome of a surprise hold or guidance indicating much less than the roughly three increases priced in may be needed for further near-term underperformance of the dollar, the economists add. The dollar is at 154.00 yen.
