Health Care up on Rotation into Less Fuel-Sensitive Sectors

Health-care companies rose as traders rotated into sectors less susceptible to rising fuel prices and interest rates.

Wegovy maker Novo Nordisk plans to rebrand itself as Novo, betting a shorter name will help it resonate more with consumers as it competes with rival Eli Lilly.

AstraZeneca said its new breast-cancer pill missed the key goal of slowing the disease from worsening in a late-stage clinical trial. Shares of the British drug maker still gained.
