President Donald Trump announced on social media platform X on September 11 that he will issue a $5,000 “Trump Dividend” to all adults in the United States, criticizing Democrats for opposing it but vowing it will happen.

In the post, Trump said the dividend is based on “Trillions of Dollars of Economic Development, Investment, and Pure SUCCESS” and that “Dumocrats” (his term for Democrats) are hoping it never happens, but “it will.” He cited the passage of THE GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL and a $1,776 gift to military personnel as examples of initiatives that were initially deemed impossible but ultimately succeeded.

Trump wrote: “When I say something, I mean it! The $5,000 Dividend will happen because the People of our Country deserve it.” He concluded by urging voters to “VOTE REPUBLICAN — MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
