Electronic Arts (EA) may be combined with Savvy Games under Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
PIF executives are weighing plans to combine the two into one of the world's largest gaming firms to improve coordination across its gaming assets, the people said, according to the report.
No final decision has been made, and a deal is unlikely before Savvy completes its $6 billion acquisition of Chinese mobile gaming business Moonton, according to the people, the report added.
PIF, Savvy and Electronic Arts did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
