CVD Equipment (CVV) is reducing its workforce by about half, and president and chief executive Emmanuel Lakios mutually agreed to step down as part of a restructuring plan for its CVD equipment business, the company said late Thursday.

Shares slumped 23%, with intraday trading volume rising to over 707,000 from a daily average of about 110,000.

Tessera Defense and Homeland Security (HLSQ), formerly BiomX (PHGE), said Friday its corporate name and ticker symbol changes are now effective, completing its rebrand as a physical security technology platform. The company's common stock began trading on the NYSE American on Friday.

More than 2.1 million shares traded intraday, declining 37%.

CPI Card Group (PMTS) priced a registered underwritten secondary offering of about 2.3 million common shares at $21.50 per share, for gross proceeds of roughly $50.3 million, the company said Friday.

Shares sank 17% as intraday trading volume jumped to over 1.19 million from the stock's daily average of roughly 73,000.
