Carnival (CCL) unit Holland America Line said Wednesday that it has advanced the renovation of its Oosterdam cruise ship by five weeks amid robust guest demand for cruises.

Oosterdam will begin its overhaul in Marseille, France, earlier than planned and return to service with its first post-Evolution voyage departing Oct. 31, 2027.

The revised schedule enables Holland America Line to add five additional voyages aboard Oosterdam, spanning the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Caribbean, the company said.

Multiple published voyages from Sept. 11, 2027, to Dec. 9, 2027, have been canceled to accommodate the accelerated overhaul, the company added.
