President Donald Trump posted on social media platform X on September 4 that the U.S. economy added 162,000 jobs in August, nearly triple the predictions of a Bloomberg survey.

In his post, Trump credited American workers and his economic policies. "This strong number is nearly TRIPLE the predictions of the Bloomberg survey's so-called 'Economists,' who continue to suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome," he wrote. Trump also touted his administration's "Fair Trade Policies" using tariffs, saying they have "reset the Global Economy" and brought manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. "like never before."

Trump highlighted booming factory construction, citing a policy of "FULL EXPENSING" that allows one-year deductions. He predicted that factories would soon be "teeming with red, white, and blue-blooded AMERICAN Workers!" The post did not provide specific industry or regional breakdowns.
