Campbell's Outlook for Fiscal 2027 Assumes Continued Volatility, Inflation

0851 ET - Campbell's guides for net sales to decline 4% to 2% over the coming year, steeper than the roughly 1% decrease that analysts polled by FactSet expected. The soup-and-snack maker also guides for adjusted earnings of $1.65 to $1.80 a share, missing Wall Street estimates. Campbell's says its outlook reflects an external environment that is expected to remain volatile, as well as another year of elevated inflation. The outlook comes as Campbell's says it will reset operations and take decisive action to improve performance over the coming year, targeting $500 million in cost savings by fiscal 2030.
