Manuka Resources Enters Trading Hlt Ahead of 'Material' Capital Raising

Manuka Resources (ASX:MKR, NZE:MKR) entered a trading halt ahead of a "material" capital raising disclosure, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
According to an Australian Financial Review report late Thursday, the company intends to raise up to AU$12 million by offering 171.4 million shares at AU$0.07 per share to buy new equipment and spend about AU$3 million in running costs.
The trading halt will remain until the earlier of the capital raising disclosure or commencement of trading on Monday, Manuka Resources said in the Friday filing.
