The updated outlook marks the second time Five Below has raised its guidance for this year, and comes after the company reported a 23% increase in sales in the second quarter, topping Wall Street's forecast. The stock rose 5.1% to $255.50 in late trading.
Petco Health and Wellness's second-quarter profit more than doubled as the company sees its turnaround plan gaining traction. Chief Executive Joel Anderson pointed to growth in consumables, a metric he said shows the company's strategy is gaining momentum. Shares were up 8% at $2.84 after hours.
