GS Yuasa to Issue First Green Bonds Worth 10 Billion Yen

GS Yuasa (TYO:6674) has submitted an amended shelf registration statement regarding the issuance of green bonds, according to a Thursday filing with the Tokyo Exchange.
The storage battery maker says the bonds are being placed at an issue amount of 10 billion yen with a maturity of 10 years from the date of issuance.
Proceeds will finance or refinance eligible projects, the filing said.
