Liaoning Port (HKG:2880) said its public float remains below Hong Kong's minimum requirement, with public investors holding H shares worth about HK$734 million, or 3.67% of the total H shares, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong exchange filing.
The company said it is exploring options to restore compliance, including a possible disposal of H shares by substantial shareholders, an additional H-share issue and an A-share repurchase and cancellation. No viable proposal has been finalized.
