Hands-On With the iPhone Duo: Does the Multi-Screen iPhone Still Matter?

Deep News

The much-anticipated foldable-screen iPhone has finally arrived, and we got to spend some time with it. Apple's new iPhone Duo uses a book-style horizontal inward fold, featuring a 5.4-inch outer display that's comfortable for one-handed use and opens up to a spacious 7.6-inch main screen.

The inner display is coated with a nano-texture layer, and crease control is remarkably well-handled—it's almost imperceptible from normal viewing angles. The titanium hinge offers a firm, satisfying open-and-close feel, and iOS has been adapted for multitasking on the large screen, with smooth parallel operation of two apps.

Here's a first look at how it performs in person.
