The Bank of East Asia, Limited (Bank of East Asia) has filed a Notice of Listing with The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (HKEX) for a US$6.00 billion Medium Term Note (MTN) Programme.
The Programme allows Bank of East Asia to issue notes or undated capital securities to Professional Investors, as defined under Chapter 37 of HKEX Listing Rules, over a 12-month period beginning 7 September 2026. Trading of the Programme on HKEX is expected to commence on or about 8 September 2026.
HSBC acts as Sole Arranger. The dealer group comprises Barclays, Bank of East Asia, BofA Securities, CCB International, Citigroup, CITIC Securities, Crédit Agricole CIB, DBS Bank, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C., HSBC, J.P.
