CSC H1 2026 Net Profit Jumps 69% to RMB7.64 Billion; Interim Dividend Set at RMB2.90 per 10 Shares

CSC reported strong interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026.

• Total revenue and other income reached RMB23.09 billion, up 41.81% year-on-year (YoY).

• Net profit attributable to equity holders surged 69.44% YoY to RMB7.64 billion; basic earnings per share rose to RMB0.92, an increase of 76.92% YoY.

• The board declared an interim cash dividend of RMB2.90 (tax inclusive) per 10 shares, based on 7.76 billion shares outstanding. The proposed payout totals RMB2.25 billion and represents 31.67% of attributable profit for the period.

Operational metrics improved across key segments: – Trading & Institutional Client Services revenue climbed 61.27% YoY to RMB13.02 billion. – Wealth Management revenue grew 29.53% YoY to RMB7.33 billion. – Asset Management revenue advanced 39.82% YoY to RMB0.91 billion. – Investment Banking revenue edged up 0.68% YoY to RMB1.18 billion.

Balance-sheet highlights: • Total assets rose 27.13% since year-end 2025 to RMB860.45 billion. • Equity attributable to shareholders increased 5.57% to RMB125.74 billion. • Net capital stood at RMB83.32 billion versus RMB79.60 billion at end-2025; the risk coverage ratio was 206.54%. • Gearing ratio (adjusted) moved to 78.94%, compared with 76.21% at year-end.

Cash flow: operating activities recorded a net outflow of RMB22.40 billion (2025: inflow of RMB45.05 billion), while financing activities generated a net inflow of RMB35.61 billion, driven by bond and short-term financing issuance.

Post-period events include issuance of RMB6.0 billion in corporate bonds, RMB1.5 billion in perpetual subordinated bonds and additional medium-term notes totaling RMB1.81 billion.

The interim financial statements were reviewed by KPMG Huazhen and KPMG without modification; final dividend approval is pending shareholder vote.
