China Railway Group Limited (“China Railway” or “the Company”) has confirmed the cash distribution parameters and tax treatment for its 2026 interim dividend, following earlier approvals by shareholders and board authorisation.

Dividend Details • Amount: RMB 0.06374 per share (tax inclusive). • Currency: Paid in Hong Kong dollars to H-share investors, translated at HKD 1 = RMB 0.86537 (five-day PBoC average to 28 August 2026), equivalent to HKD 0.07366 per H share (tax inclusive). • Record Date: Close of business on 30 September 2026. • Register Closure: 25–30 September 2026; share transfers must be lodged by 4:30 p.m. on 24 September 2026 with Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services. • Payment Date: On or about 14 October 2026.

Enterprise Income Tax • A 10% withholding will be applied to dividends paid to non-resident enterprise H-shareholders (including HKSCC Nominees and other corporate nominees/trustees). • PRC-resident enterprises seeking exemption must submit certified documentation to the share registrar by 4:30 p.m. on 24 September 2026.

Individual Income Tax • Base rate: 20% on dividends to individual H-shareholders. • Preferential treaty rates: – 10% for Hong Kong, Macau, and jurisdictions with a 10% treaty rate (tax withheld at 10%; RMB 0.006374 / HKD 0.007366 per share). – Less than 10% treaty rate: tax withheld at 10%; excess refundable upon approval. – 10%–20% treaty rate: tax withheld at the specific treaty rate. – 20% treaty rate or no treaty: tax withheld at 20% (RMB 0.012748 / HKD 0.014732 per share).

Northbound Trading (Hong Kong investors in A-shares) • Dividend paid in RMB via China Securities Depository & Clearing (Shanghai). • Company will withhold 10% income tax; refunds possible upon treaty approval.

Southbound Trading • Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Connect investors will receive dividends in RMB via the respective CSDC branches. • Individual and fund investors: 20% income-tax withholding. • Domestic enterprise investors: self-declare and pay tax; company will not withhold.
