Baidu, Inc. disclosed that on 8 September 2026 it repurchased 554,150 Class A ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, spending HKD 49.99 million. The shares were bought at prices ranging between HKD 89.05 and HKD 92.35 per share, and are designated for cancellation.

Including the 545,000 shares bought one day earlier, Baidu has repurchased a total of 1,099,150 shares since its latest mandate was approved on 26 August 2026. This represents 0.04 % of the company’s issued share capital as at the mandate date. The mandate authorises buybacks of up to 273.36 million shares.

Following these transactions, Baidu’s issued share count remains unchanged at 2.21 billion because the purchased shares had not yet been cancelled as of the reporting date. A moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales is in effect until 8 October 2026, in line with Hong Kong listing rules governing post-buyback activities.

The board confirmed that all repurchases complied with applicable regulations and the terms of the explanatory statement issued on 27 July 2026.
