Once the official green light is granted, sales can begin shortly after the National Day holiday. Industry insiders report that pilot firms have already completed full preparations across investment research, systems, market-making, and risk control functions.
Although the products remain in the review pipeline, multiple fund houses confirm they have passed regulatory inspections and are largely ready to launch. Wang Qionghui, CEO of JPMorgan Asset Management China, noted that active ETFs combine the exchange-traded format's high liquidity, transparency, and low costs with the potential for excess returns that traditional active funds seek in structural markets.
