During a live-streaming event on the morning of September 11, viewers were invited to explore the unique qualities of Xiaobai Sha peanuts from Zhengyang County, celebrated as China's peanut capital. The produce was praised for its vibrant appearance and fragrant taste, with same-day shipping promised for all orders placed online.

The session, branded "Green Farming Henan," was hosted at the Zhengyang Specialty Products Pavilion and organized by the county's Youth League Committee. A wide array of local agricultural goods, including peanuts, handmade noodles, and Wangwuqiao vinegar, were transported virtually to customers across the nation through this digital marketplace.

Leading the broadcast was Fan Yanyan, a 28-year-old member of the Zhengyang New Youth Volunteer Association and a well-known rural e-commerce streamer. Despite living with a physical disability since childhood, Fan has refused to succumb to adversity. With support from relevant authorities, she established the specialty pavilion and now works independently to promote local farm products through her online broadcasts.

The series of live commerce events focuses on the region's premier agricultural offerings, such as Zhengyang peanuts, Wangwuqiao vinegar, Huaihe aromatic rice, and Dougou handmade hollow noodles. By directing the camera toward field-fresh goods, the initiative brings the county's quality produce into the digital limelight, effectively removing geographical obstacles and breaking down online sales barriers.

This approach has enabled more internet users to discover the distinctive flavors of Zhengyang, bridging the gap between rural producers and broader markets. The combination of superior quality and affordable pricing attracted considerable attention, drawing crowds of viewers eager to inquire, purchase, and engage with the products. What began as a modest live room transformed into both a showcase for agricultural sales and a platform promoting rural revitalization.

Within a single morning, the charity-driven live commerce drive achieved nearly 5,000 yuan in sales, generating a palpable sense of online community support and garnering widespread praise. The event not only expanded sales avenues for local farm products but also highlighted the dedication of young people committed to building businesses and driving growth in their hometowns.

Moving forward, the county's Youth League Committee plans to leverage the "Green Farming Henan" brand further, rallying more young broadcasters and new-generation farmers to join these promotional efforts. By harnessing digital tools to empower rural industries, the initiative aims to use youthful energy to boost rural revitalization, ensuring that more high-quality, specialty products gain the visibility, recognition, and consumer base they deserve.
