Zhongyu Energy Executes HKD 1.65 Million On-Market Buyback; Treasury Shares Increase to 55.14 Million

Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited disclosed that on 08 September 2026 it repurchased 600,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 2.72 and HKD 2.775 per share, spending a total of HKD 1.65 million.

Following the transaction: • Outstanding shares excluding treasury shares declined by 0.02% to 2.69 billion. • Treasury shares rose to 55.14 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 2.75 billion.

The buyback forms part of a mandate approved on 26 June 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 270.56 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 12.44 million shares, equivalent to 0.46% of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Zhongyu Energy is subject to a 30-day moratorium—until 08 October 2026—on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares following the latest repurchase.
