GWMOTOR Repurchases 1.29 Million H-Shares, Raising Treasury Stock to 15.81 Million

Great Wall Motor Company Limited (GWMOTOR) disclosed that it bought back 1.29 million H-shares on 2 September 2026 via on-market transactions. The repurchase was executed at prices between HKD 7.70 and HKD 7.75 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 7.72, bringing the total cash outlay to HKD 9.92 million.

Following the transaction, GWMOTOR’s outstanding share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.06 % to 2.30 billion shares, while treasury shares increased to 15.81 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 2.32 billion.

The purchases were made under the 230.77 million-share buyback mandate approved on 26 June 2026. Cumulative repurchases since the mandate now stand at 15.81 million shares, equivalent to 0.69 % of the company’s issued share count on the mandate date. All repurchased shares are being held in treasury; no cancellations have been announced.

In line with Hong Kong Listing Rules, GWMOTOR is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury share disposals, effective until 2 October 2026.
