Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Keeps RMB 10.54 Billion Authorised Share Capital Unchanged in August

For the month ended 31 August 2026, Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited (Shanghai Pechem) reported no movements in either authorised or issued share capital, according to its monthly return filed with Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited on 1 September 2026.

Authorised/registered share capital held steady at RMB 10.54 billion, split between 3.21 billion H-shares and 7.33 billion A-shares, each with a par value of RMB 1.

Issued share capital also remained unchanged. H-shares stood at 3.21 billion and A-shares at 7.33 billion, with no treasury shares outstanding.

The company confirmed that its H-share public float meets the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s 5 % minimum requirement for PRC issuers.

No share options, warrants, convertible instruments, or other agreements to issue shares were outstanding or initiated during the reporting period.
