GigaDevice Trims Float with 1.93 Million A-Share Buyback Worth RMB 756.17 Million

GigaDevice Semiconductor Inc. has reported the completion of a new tranche of share repurchases, purchasing 1.93 million A-shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange between 21 August and 4 September 2026. The transactions, all conducted for subsequent cancellation, amounted to a total cash outlay of approximately RMB 756.17 million at a volume-weighted average price of roughly RMB 391.60 per share.

As at 4 September 2026, GigaDevice’s issued share capital stood unchanged at 670.72 million A-shares, with no treasury shares on hand. The repurchased shares represent around 0.29% of the company’s existing issued share base. Once cancelled, the outstanding share count will fall to about 668.79 million.

The latest daily buyback, executed on 4 September 2026, involved 132,600 shares repurchased at prices ranging from RMB 368.86 to RMB 380.00, for a consideration of RMB 49.85 million. Earlier purchases in the period ranged from 21 August to 3 September, with individual daily volumes of 129,500–517,100 shares at average prices between RMB 383.37 and RMB 406.48.

Management confirmed that all repurchases were duly authorised by the board and complied with Hong Kong Listing Rules and Shanghai Stock Exchange regulations. No shares are being held as treasury stock; all repurchased shares are slated for cancellation, ensuring a proportional enhancement of remaining shareholders’ interests without altering the company’s treasury-share position.
