The European Commission's spokesperson confirmed on Thursday that ENISA, the EU's cybersecurity agency, has been granted access to Anthropic's Mythos 5 AI model, which is currently in its testing phase.
Furthermore, the same spokesperson revealed that ENISA has also obtained access to OpenAI's newest model, GPT-6-Astra. This development follows earlier restrictions imposed by the White House that barred foreign institutions from accessing high-performance AI models developed by American companies.
Although the White House subsequently relaxed these restrictions, the question of whether foreign entities could gain access to these advanced models remained uncertain until now.
