Beijing, September 20th — Paxini Perception Technology (hereinafter "Paxini") has completed a Series B+++ financing round worth hundreds of millions of RMB. This round of investment attracted a diverse group of backers, including Guangxin Fund (under a Fortune Global 500 enterprise), Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Investment Group (a social security fund), Shandong Guohui Fund, CITIC Capital, Semir Fangdao Fund, CCTV Finance, Tai Zhonghe Fund, and Suqian Chanye Venture Capital. Existing shareholders like Jingming Capital and Hexin Fangce have increased their stakes. Notably, Samsung has made a substantial strategic investment, and Gengxin Capital China will continue to act as the exclusive long-term strategic financial advisor.
This latest round follows a busy fundraising period for Paxini. In March of this year, the company completed a Series B round exceeding 1 billion RMB, which was followed by another 1 billion RMB strategic round in August. With this new Series B+++ announcement, the company has now secured three rounds of funding within six months, including two in a single month. The cumulative funds raised significantly surpass the combined total of all public fundraising by other tactile sensing companies globally for the same period in 2026.
Founded in 2021, Paxini's founding team originates from the Sugano Robotics Laboratory at Waseda University in Japan. The company is focused on proprietary 6D Hall-array multi-dimensional tactile sensing technology and has developed its own ITPU multi-dimensional tactile processing unit. This technology endows robots with 15 different tactile perception dimensions, including six-axis force, sliding, friction, texture, and temperature. Leveraging this core technology, Paxini has built a complete product matrix that spans from tactile sensors and dexterous hands to humanoid robots. The company has also established embodied intelligence data factories in Tianjin, Suqian, and Wuhan, creating a data collection capacity of tens of billions of full-modal samples. Its products are already being deployed in various applications, including precision assembly in 3C electronics manufacturing, automotive production lines, and logistics sorting.
