On September 14, international oil prices experienced a collective surge, while global gold and silver markets moved in the opposite direction, both declining.

As of 06:30, Brent crude futures advanced more than 3%, climbing back above $107 per barrel. Meanwhile, New York crude oil futures rose nearly 3%, reflecting strong upward momentum in the energy sector.

In the precious metals space, spot gold edged lower, retreating to $4,336.17 per ounce, while spot silver slipped 0.71%, signalling a pullback across the metals complex.

US stock index futures, however, painted a bearish picture across the board. Nasdaq futures dropped more than 1%, S&P 500 futures fell 0.51%, and Dow Jones futures declined 0.27%, indicating a cautious start for equity markets ahead of the trading session.
