JNBY Design Limited (JNBY) released audited results for the year ended 30 June 2026.
Revenue and Earnings • Revenue rose 9.0% year-on-year to RMB 6.05 billion, driven by higher online sales and 2.4% same-store growth offline. • Net profit attributable to shareholders increased 11.1% to RMB 997 million. • Gross profit grew 10.7% to RMB 4.03 billion; gross margin improved to 66.6% from 65.6%. • Operating profit climbed 11.4% to RMB 1.33 billion, with net margin edging up to 16.5%.
Segment Performance • Mature brand JNBY: revenue up 7.6% to RMB 3.24 billion. • Younger brands (CROQUIS, jnby by JNBY, LESS): revenue up 7.1% to RMB 2.33 billion. • Emerging brands (POMME DE TERRE, JNBYHOME, onmygame, B1OCK): revenue up 32.2% to RMB 477.5 million.
Dividends • Final dividend of HK$1.06 per share and a special dividend of HK$0.75 per share recommended. • Together with the interim dividend of HK$0.52 per share, total payout for FY2026 will be HK$2.33 per share, subject to approval at the 2 October 2026 AGM.
Cash Flow and Financial Position • Net cash from operating activities increased 26.5% to RMB 1.43 billion. • Cash and cash equivalents stood at RMB 519.37 million; term deposits with initial term over three months totaled RMB 1.07 billion. • Short-term bank borrowings amounted to RMB 249.31 million. • Net gearing remained low with an asset-liability ratio of 45.3%, down from 46.8% a year earlier.
Store Network and Membership • Store count was largely stable at 2,118 locations worldwide. • Active membership accounts exceeded 610,000, contributing over 80% of total retail sales. • Membership accounts purchasing more than RMB 5,000 annually rose to over 360,000, generating RMB 5.20 billion in retail sales.
Capital Actions • In January 2026 the company placed 14.54 million new shares at HK$18.78 each, raising net proceeds of roughly HK$270.0 million (≈ RMB 243.01 million) to support brand development, R&D and general corporate purposes. • During the year HK$130.21 million (≈ RMB 114.83 million) was spent on share purchases for the RSU scheme.
Strategic Developments • Construction contracts totaling RMB 696.80 million were outstanding for the new integrated R&D, warehousing and culture park in Shuangpu, Hangzhou. • The company continued to expand multi-brand collection stores under “JIANGNANBUYI+”, “jnby+” and “Box Project”, and enhanced digital retail capabilities.
Post-Balance-Sheet Event • The proposed final and special dividends will be tabled for shareholder approval at the 2026 AGM; financial statements do not reflect these amounts.
Auditor • Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu audited the FY2026 financial statements and will stand for re-appointment at the AGM.
