Suzhou Zelgen Biopharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. (688266.SH) announced that it has recently received the official "Acceptance Notification" issued by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

The company's new drug application for the injection of recombinant human thyrotropin beta (formerly known as recombinant human thyroid-stimulating hormone injection, under the brand name Zesuning®) has been officially accepted for review.

The newly accepted indication is specifically for the treatment of patients with differentiated thyroid cancer without distant metastasis, aimed at facilitating the clearance of residual thyroid tissue in conjunction with radioactive iodine (131I) therapy following a total or near-total thyroidectomy.
